This week we’ll be at the Skoll World Forum in Oxford connecting with leaders, innovators, and social entrepreneurs from across the world to discuss how we can achieve large-scale and lasting social change.

The Skoll World Forum takes place every year, spotlighting solutions to global challenges and bringing together leaders who are driving change around the world.

Together with the Missing Billion Initiative, we are proud to have supported the inaugural cohort of Skoll Disability Inclusion Leaders to attend and speak at the Forum – amplifying their calls for disability inclusion and justice.

We will also be taking part in two side events:

Disability-Inclusive Health 101: An Introduction to Equity in Action

We’ll discuss why accessible healthcare is so important to achieve greater social impact and hear from experts, including our CEO Kirsty Smith and disability leaders about the improvements being made in global health.

Resilience in Action: An Immersive Conversation with Disability Inclusion Leaders

We’ll be hearing from the eight Skoll Disability Inclusion Leaders, who will showcase their experiences, insights, and transformative work for large scale social change. This includes two representatives from CBM Global partners: Karla Henson from the Philippines and Mohua Paul from Bangladesh.

By connecting with changemakers and amplifying the voices of disability leaders at the Forum, we hope to show how true inclusion can result in a more just and equitable world.
